چکیده
Abstract. Ultrasonic waves, either bulk waves or guided are commonly used for non-destructive evaluation, example in structural health monitoring. Traditional sensors detecting ultrasonic include metallic strain gauges and piezoelectric ceramics. Recently piezoresistive nanocomposites have emerged as a promising sensor with high sensing range. In this paper, constriction-resistive based made from graphene reinforced PLA filament is developed using fused deposition modelling 3D printing approach novel type of monitoring purposes. The very low-cost recyclable thermoplastic material, which lightweight can be directly printed onto the surface various engineering structures, embedded into interior structure via fabrication printing. These characteristics make candidate compared to traditional detect signals frequencies around 200 kHz, good signal-to-noise ratio sensitivity. When deployed between two adjacent tracks , exploiting kissing-bond mechanism, capable waves. Several confirmatory experiments were carried out on validate capability

The Boom in 3D-Printed Sensor Technology
Future sensing applications will include high-performance features, such as toxin detection, real-time monitoring of physiological events, advanced diagnostics, and connected feedback. However, such multi-functional sensors require advancements in sensitivity, specificity, and throughput with the simultaneous delivery of multiple detection in a short time. Recent advances in 3D printing and ele...
متن کاملinvestigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures
deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
A 3D-Printed Sensor for Monitoring Biosignals in Small Animals
Although additive manufacturing technologies, also known as 3D printing, were first introduced in the 1980s, they have recently gained remarkable popularity owing to decreased costs. 3D printing has already emerged as a viable technology in many industries; in particular, it is a good replacement for microfabrication technology. Microfabrication technology usually requires expensive clean room ...
متن کاملA Miniaturized QEPAS Trace Gas Sensor with a 3D-Printed Acoustic Detection Module
A 3D printing technique was introduced to a quartz-enhanced photoacoustic spectroscopy (QEPAS) sensor and is reported for the first time. The acoustic detection module (ADM) was designed and fabricated using the 3D printing technique and the ADM volume was compressed significantly. Furthermore, a small grin lens was used for laser focusing and facilitated the beam adjustment in the 3D-printed A...
